IIHF World Championship 2019
The 83rd World Ice Hockey Championship was held in May 2019. The organizer was Slovakia, played in the capital Bratislava and in the second largest city in Košice. Before the final matches of the championship, Miroslav Šatan and Žigmund Pálffy were also inducted into the IIHF Hall of Fame.

At the Ondrej Nepela Ice Stadium in Bratislava and at the Steel Arena in Košice, dozens of Avemeo TV systems controlled audiovisual streams for studios, press centers and fan zones.
